A Trustifi Identity Certificate (TIC) is a Digital ID or digital certificate provided by Trustifi. A TIC is an electronic version of your online identity. A TIC can be used to authenticate or verify that it is really you trying to access secured information. You can use your TIC to prove your identity in an outgoing email. A TIC is the key to literally “unlocking” your access rights to information on your computer or via the Internet.

What is TIC Wizard?

TIC Wizard is the gateway to a collection of software products that provides security for common desktop operations. Specifically, TIC Wizard provides effortless retrieving of digital certificates and simplification of secure email. TIC Wizard provides:

A control panel where a user goes to initiate the retrieval, installation and configuration of their digital certificates as well as make settings and password changes.

TIC-mail is a component that enables users to secure their email with ease. TIC-mail accomplishes this by using end user authentication and encryption standards built into MS Outlook and Outlook Express. Sensitive corporate or personal email information, including attachments, will now be secured and protected. TIC-mail automatically updates and stores the contact information of the sender in your address book for all signed incoming email messages that have been opened. This not only provides easy storage of contact information, but also a transparent tool for managing the individual public certificates that are required to send secure email.
